Visual Impact identified a need for real world training given by people who actually are working in the Film and Video Industry. Our two top priorities are to offer the best internship available in the broadcast sector and to get our interns work after they have completed the internship. The internship focuses on developing producing, directing, editing and content creation skills. To ensure skills development and quality the interns are required to participate and complete projects for real clients. These kids are bright, motivated and competent. Give them a chance on your project.
Everyone of them that leaves the academy has a professional home to come back to. To help them get employment and develop them we support them with mentoring, edit equipment and broadcast equipment after completion of the internship. Our relationship is lifelong and stretches way beyond the internship.
The South African government MICT SETA (Media, Information and Communication Technologies Sector Education and Authority) ensures that the VI Academy operates within the legal training framework. Apart from the internship the Academy also offers various courses, but prefers to focus on the specific needs of the group or individuals that approach us.
